Hancock County grand jury issues 45 indictments

NEW CUMBERLAND — Forty-five indictments were issued against area residents as part of the April term of the Hancock County grand jury, it was announced Wednesday, with many of the charges related to the possession and delivery of illegal drugs. Among those indicted were three individuals arrested in January by Weirton police as part of an investigation into the distribution of crystal methamphetamine in the city. Kyle Striffler-Waderker, 30, of 515 Wallace St., Brilliant, and Amanda L. Wade, 40, of 400 South 22nd St., Weirton, both were indicted on charges of possession with intent to deliver-methamphetamine. Sara Stipanovich, 35, of 3428 Orchard St., Weirton, faces charges of conspiracy and delivery of methamphetamine. The three were arrested following the execution of a search warrant at Stipanovich’s residence.

The investigation was conducted by the Hancock-Brooke-Weirton Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force. As part of the investigation, officials reported the seizure of an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency and an estimated $2,500 in crystal meth. Shawn McClure, 29, also of 3428 Orchard St., Weirton, also was indicted for delivery of methamphetamine and conspiracy. McClure had not been announced as part of the initial January arrest. Other indictments issued by the grand jury were:

–Kandice M. Bragg, 27, 2908 Weir Ave., Weirton, conspiracy

–David A. Marsh II, 34, 164 Mahogany Lane, Weirton, grand larceny. Marsh also was indicted for fraudulent use of access device.

–Roman B. Longo, 33, 465 Lincoln Blvd., Steubenville, transferring stolen property

–Christopher A. Rice, 21, 1304 Park St., Steubenville, entry of enclosed commercial property, conspiracy

–Dylan J. Rice, 23, 1304 Park St., Steubenville, entry of enclosed commercial property, conspiracy

–Christopher K. Presutti, 22, 228 Florida Ave., Weirton, malicious assault

–Marc N. Bell, 33, 3939 Elm St., Weirton, delivery of cocaine and clonazepam, transporting and conspiracy

–Roxanne Cox, 40, 3939 Elm St., Weirton, delivery of cocaine and clonazepam, transporting and conspiracy

–Donald E. Stevens, 44, 731 Cove Road, Weirton, failure to register as a sex offender, prohibited person in possession of a firearm

–Roger E. Stevens Sr., 64, 975 Byron St., Weirton, providing firearm to a prohibited person, obstructing a DNR officer

–Stanley D. Lipscomb, 32, 3737 Orchard St., No. 2, Weirton, delivery of cocaine

–Natalie Flannigan, 36, 1844 Campground Road, Wellsville, DUI with serious bodily injury

–Paul Hall, 27, 432 Jefferson St., Newell, four counts sexual abuse in the first degree
