CHESTER CLEANUP

The city of Chester held its first city cleanup day last month as two roll-off containers were provided for citizens to dispose of trash and recycled items. City Council has said its intentions are for this service to continue each year as an easier way for residents to dispose of unwanted material, while also cleaning up the overall look of the city. Pictured here at the cleanup day are (from left) Mark Six, Larry Babel, councilmen John Woodruff and Mike Dotson and Bob Kinest. Other volunteers not pictured include Susan and Tom Hineman, Grace Miller, councilman Brad Anderson, police chief Todd Murray, Dustin Lang and Amanda Mays. (Submitted photo)
