LaCroft Elementary hosted a Literacy Night and Book Fair on Nov. 8 for grades K-4 focused on fun. It was a night filled with many simple activities to help get students and families excited about reading. Each grade level had a station set up with activities for students to do and get some ideas to take home. The East Liverpool Carnegie Library was there as well as The First Step After School Program to share what their programs have to offer children of various ages. Mr. Walgate also had book readings he did throughout the night for students and families. After students visited some activities they were given the opportunity to enjoy some pizza and punch. There were ten prizes given away to students who entered their names in the drawings. (Submitted photo)
