U.S. Marshals arrest rapper on ‘Top 10 Most Wanted List’
LISBON — Anthony V.M. Mascarella, 29, Youngstown, who was on the county sheriff office’s Top 10 Most Wanted list, was located by members of the U.S. Marshals Office and Youngstown Police at a party Tuesday night.
According to WKBN FirstNews, Mascarella was hosting a party at Youngstown Hitsville Studio, LLC, to celebrate the release of his new rap CD. Mascarella goes by the name King Duke.
Authorities finding his location, went to serve him with the warrant, a secret indictment from Columbiana County charging Mascarella with failure to appear on recognizance bonds. On April 27, 2015, he had two felony possession of drugs charges pending from 2013 and 2014, but reportedly did not appear for court.
The newest indictment was issued by the county grand jury in October 2015.
During the arrest in Youngstown, WKBN said, Mascarella reportedly threw a gun onto the floor near a small child and was found with $6,000 in cash along with prescription drugs in baggies — tramadol, percocet and endocet. He is now expected to face additional charges in Mahoning County for possession of drugs, having a weapon while under a disability and receiving stolen property.
