WELLSVILLE – A new fitness center in town looks to provide women with a positive, empowering, healthy feeling which they can enjoy along with a variety of lotions and scents to feel comfortable at home.

That healthy feeling can be achieved at Sister Mary’s Fitness and Boutique, the newest female fitness facility to come to town, located on 557 Wells Avenue next door to the Riverside Roadhouse.

Owner/operator Mary Frazier recently opened the gym, and noted that women who have used the facility so far range in age from 15 up through their early 80s, and the goal is to ultimately make members and guests happier and healthier.

“Sister Mary’s is here for women who want to make a difference in their lives,” Frazier said. “When mama is happy, everyone is happy. Hope to see you soon.”

The main focus of the center is in fitness, and with that includes the center’s gym for women to work out. The gym includes 14 exercise machines – no weights – and is geared towards resistance training, working both sides of the muscles.

“Some of our ladies enjoy working out,” Frazier said. “You have more energy, balance and overall feeling of healthier you. Nothing to lose but inches.”

The gym provides a healthy environment but also provides a calm, serene atmosphere looking outside. Guests can view picturesque sights of the Ohio River through the large picture windows at the facility.

Memberships are available for $30 monthly per person, with the first workout free. Individual visits can also be done for $4 per visit per person for ages 18 to 64, and $3 for both students under 18 and adults 65 and over.

Along with the fitness center, guests also have an opportunity to view the selection of beauty products available for both men and women inside the boutique.

All of the products available for purchase in the boutique are made in the United States and include, to name a few, scented soaps, lotions, shea butter, candles, scented chunks for electric pots and other nice gifts for all occasions.

“(We have) weekly drawings, a friendly atmosphere and a great workout for overall health,” Frazier said.

Coming up this week, the public will have an opportunity to see what Sister Mary’s has to offer as the center will present its Open House week. Guests throughout the week can experience the gym, check out the selections available in the boutique and also obtain gift certificates to use at the facility. The Open House week will be from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Nov. 28 through Dec. 2, and all are welcome to attend.

Frazier looks forward to meeting guests throughout the week, and also thanks her family for being able to help her make the gym happen.

“Thank you Mom and Dad, sisters and brothers for making everything happen,” Frazier said. “Also my husband Rick for living the dream.”

The gym/boutique is open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. For more information, call 330-362-0191. A Facebook page with more information will also be available in the future.
