Wednesday marked a special day at the CrossRoads at Beaver Creek as resident Ann Green celebrated her 100th birthday, with many guests including staff, residents, Green’s children, other family members and East Liverpool Mayor Ryan Stovall on hand for the occasion. With the birthday, Green became the first centenarian to reside at the assisted living facility on Echo Dell Road. A West Virginia native, Green credited her long life to hard work, going to church and “eating a lot of onions”. This past weekend, another party was held in her honor as she celebrated her milestone birthday along with her seven children, 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
