Board meets to discuss dismissal
EAST LIVERPOOL – A special meeting Thursday night of the city school board called to discuss dismissal of an employee ended with no action taken.
Upon convening the meeting, the board immediately went into executive session to discuss personnel/dismissal of a public employee or official and, after an hour and 40 minutes, returned to immediately adjourn.
The board did not invite Superintendent James Herring into the closed-door session.
No comments were made prior to adjourning, and when asked if she had anything to say, board President Janice Martin said, “No comment.”
The board had met in executive session at its last regular meeting, also for discipline/dismissal of an employee, with no action taken.
