WELLSVILLE — The First Baptist Wellsville will celebrate their Mass Choir annual Day at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Music provided by various choirs, soloists, and expressive dance troupes from the tri-state area. Public welcome.

CHESTER — The teens will be leading the 10:40 a.m. worship service Sunday at Chester Church of the Nazarene, 205 Third St. There will be several instrumental and vocal specials, as well as a human video. Pastor Steve Cummings will be preaching the morning and 6 p.m. evening message. Sunday school for all ages begins at 9:30. The 18-30s age group meets across the street from the church. EAST LIVERPOOL — The Emmanuel Presbyterian Church will celebrate the First Sunday of Lent with Margie Zellars, CRE, during the 11 a.m. worship service. The title of her sermon is “What is Lent?”. Sunday school begins at 9:30. Special music will be presented by Aaron Bunfill.

GLENMOOR — The Glenmoor ECO Presbyterian Church, state Route 267 (Lisbon St.) will observe the First Sunday in Lent and the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper, this Sunday during the 11 a.m. service of worship. The Children’s Choir will provide the music. Pastor Vel Vais’ topic is titled, “Response to Temptation” with the text from Luke 4:1-13. Children’s Church and Nursery are provided during the service. The church is handicap accessible.

EAST LIVERPOOL — The Rev. John Bower will be the speakering during the 10 a.m. worship service Sunday at Grace Presbyterian Church, 535 Virginia Ave. His sermon title is “Christ’s Temptations in the Wilderness” with scriptures from Luke 4. Sunday School for the youth is held during the service. The church is handicap accessible.

CALCUTTA — Long’s Run Trinity Presbyterian Church will celebrate the First Sunday of Lent during the 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday. Sunday School begins at 9:30. The sermon title is “Words Matter” with scripture references from Isaiah 55, and James 3. The anthem, “Out of the Depths” will be sung by the choir. The offertory, “Wonderful Words of Life” will be played by John McGraw. A Bible study is held 3 p.m. every Thursday as they continue to study the Book of Jonah. The nursery will be available during the worship service for children in grades 2 and under. Kingdom Kids meet 4:30-6 p.m. Wednesday. The first Lenten Dinner will be held 6 p.m. Wednesday and will begin with a video study “Walking in the Footsteps of Jesus”. The Social Hour following the worship service is to welcome Rev. Bauler’s wife, Marla, who is visiting with us today. The building is handicapped accessible.

CALCUTTA — Jeff Pellin from Boardman Methodist Church, will be the speaker during the 10 a.m. worship service Sunday at the Calcutta Good Shepherd Methodist Church, 49238 Calcutta Smiths Ferry Road. His is “Springtime and Lent”.
