LISBON — Robert Bycroft School is again sponsoring the Adopt-A-Class project for Christmas. This project involves donating $8 per student, eight students per class ($64). This money will be used by staff members to purchase a gift for each child. Santa will deliver the gifts at the Christmas party.
The Early Intervention/Help Me Grow program is also accepting monetary donations to be used toward Christmas gifts for their 75 enrolled children.

EAST LIVERPOOL — The Beacon Association is sponsoring The East Liverpool Christmas parade 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 1, with Light-Up Night to follow. The parade theme for 2018 is “Seasons of Miracles”. Grand Marshall for this year is Lauren Thomas. Registration begins 4 p.m. with line-up at 5, in front of Wayne Wells Flooring. A Fill-A-Truck will also be available for donations of non-perishable foods, new toys, and new clothing to go towards The Salvation Army Christmas. WELLSVILLE — The Wellsville Lions Club will be accepting applications for its annual Care and Share Program, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 26-28, and Nov. 30, and 5-7:30 p.m. Nov. 29, at the Wellsville Carnegie Public Library, Main Street. Applications will be available for both food baskets and toys. Applicants must bring photo ID and proof of address such as a utility bill. Anyone with a 43968 zip code and/or 330-532/362 phone number are eligible to apply for assistance. Applications must be filled out in person and cannot be taken from the library and returned at another time. Do not call the library for information. MIDLAND — A Thanksgiving Buffet served 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13 at St. Anthony Club, 561 Beaver Ave. Cost is $13 for adults and $4 for children 12-under. Carryout available. Menu includes turkey, chicken, stuffing, cranberry sauce, potato, vegetable, salad, bread, dessert and coffee.
