EAST LIVERPOOL — TOPS 1390 met Nov. 6 at Oakland Free Methodist Church, with leader, Naomi Cowsert, presiding.
The weekly best loser is Anne McGee and the runner-up is Gerry DuMoulin. The no-no is candy. The monthly best loser is DuMoulin and runner-up is Wanda Price. Last week’s best loser back with a loss is DuMoulin. She also had three weeks of losses. Winners of the “Falling Leaves and Scary Bugs” game are DuMoulin, Price and Karen Brereton. Cowsert, DuMoulin, Debbie Ice, May Kinemond, McGee, and Price remain in the check contest.
Dec. 4 weigh-in will be at 4:30 p.m. before the Christmas party at 5:30 at Adrian’s.
Cowsert had a program including “Ways to Separate Nutrition News from Hype” and a “Food Myths and Truths Quiz.”
EAST LIVERPOOL — TOPS 2231 met at Always Best Care, 1324 St. Clair Ave. on Oct. 6 with leader Mary Wolf presiding. The meeting opened with the TOPS and KOPS pledges and roll call.
Cassy Stephens read the treasurer report and Pam Fouse read the secretary report. Both were approved as read.
TOPS best loser was Tonnie Slagle and Carolyn Hager. The KOPS best loser and officers was Wolf and Stephens. Six weeks weight loss was Hager. Six weeks in leeway was Verla Betteridge. Twenty pounds off was Hager and also has reached her goal, She is now a KOPS. Congratulations Hager. Fouse was the monthly best loser.
The no-nos are cake, cookies, salty snacks, ice cream, and no eating after dinner.
Slagle won the calorie charts, Hager won the dimes, and Betteridge won the 50/50.
