Cooper awarded Community Builders Award
EAST LIVERPOOL — Riddle Lodge 315 FAM of Ohio presented Drew Cooper of East Liverpool with its annual Community Builders Award.
Cooper is a graduate of East Liverpool High School and the US Naval Academy. He served his country as a Naval Officer for seven years, and after leaving the Navy he operated a business as a home renovater and remodeler for 10 years. He is currently employed at True North as VP of operations.
Cooper is actively involved in many community activities. He is a member of the First United Methodist Church in East Liverpool, where he serves as a youth councilor. He is chairman and so-founder of East Liverpool Community Partnership for Revitalization (ELCPR), which has established community events and programs such as Ceramic City Jazz, Blues and BBQ Festival; Ceramic City Christmas Festival; Henry Mancini Academy; and Dolly Parton Library Program.
Cooper received the award at a dinner at the East Liverpool Masonic Temple. The dinner was served by Crystal Chapter 18 OES, and entertainment was provided by the ELHS Concert Choir. The sward was presented by Worshipful Master Brian Fitzgerald. In attendance was past recipient Marc D Hoffrichter, DDS (2011).
Cooper was accompanied by his wife Tamar Cooper and parents Steve and Joan Cooper.
