EAST LIVERPOOL — Emmanuel Presbyterian Church welcomes Alan Boone to the pulpit during the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday. His sermon is titled “The Truth About Heaven and Hell and the Human Heart”. Sunday school begins at 9:30 a.m. The Agape Choir will resume rehearsals at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12.

GLENMOOR — The Glenmoor ECO Presbyterian Church, state Route 267 (Lisbon St.) will emphasize the theme: “Building Principles” during the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday. Music provided by Beth Weir with a medley of organ music.

Pastor Vel Vais’ topic is “Living a Successful Life” with scripture from Romans 8:26-39.

Children’s Church is provided during the service. The church is handicap accessible and the sanctuary is air-conditioned.

EAST LIVERPOOL — The Rev. John Bower will be the guest speaker during the 10 a.m. worship service Sunday at Grace Presbyterian Church. His sermon title will be “Isms”. A light lunch served following the service.

CALCUTTA — Longs Run Trinity Presbyterian Church will have Rev. Mark Wilds as guest pastor during the 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday. He will speak on the topic “Being the People God Gifted Us to Be!”, with scripture from Romans 13 and Matthew 18. Special music provided by the choir with Holly Pickens on the flute. Sunday School resumes at 9:30. Sundaes for Sunday School served after worship. Nursery held during the service for children in grade 2 and younger.

NEW CUMBERLAND — Nessly Chapel United Methodist Church, state Route 2, by the backwaters, will be holding “Fill-A-Pew” during the 9:30 a.m. worship service this Sunday. The theme is “If Your Life Stinks, We Have a ‘Pew’ For You”. A luncheon will follow. Pastor Bob Macek.

EAST LIVERPOOL — The Heights Church, formerly Pleasant Heights United Brethren In Christ Church, will host the Living Proof Simulcast event, with Beth Moore from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. Cost is $15 and includes lunch. Along with Beth Moore, one of today’s top women’s ministry leaders, worship pastor, and Dove Award recipient Travis Cottrell will lead worship via simulcast.

Presented by the Nashville-based publishing company LifeWay Christian Resources, Living Proof Live will simulcast from its Huntsville, Ala., event, so women across the globe will be able to experience a live Bible study with Beth Moore.
