Carissa Grady

CALCUTTA — Beaver Local Leo Club selected Carissa Grady, senior, as Leo of the Month for November.

She also attends the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center for Interactive Multmedia classes.

One of her favorite reasons for joining the club “is being surrounded by people who care about giving back to the community.” She particularly enjoys visitations to the Calcutta Health Care Center on Sundays. In addition, she mentors 4th graders every Tuesday during the after school Bible Club program.

After graduation, she plans to attend Kent State University, Tuscarawas branch, to continue her studies in Computer Animation and game design. Other interests include photography, 3-D printing and sewing.

She is the daughter of Kevin and Allison Grady.
