WELLSVILLE — Rev. Roosevelt Thompson will be the guest speaker during the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday at First Baptist Wellsville. Music provided by the Male Chorus. Rev. Thompson is the former pastor of First Baptist and is currently the Senior Pastor at the Cathedral of Hope in Youngstown. Public welcome.

EAST LIVERPOOL — The Emmanuel Presbyterian Church will celebrate the 1st Sunday of Advent with the annual “Hanging of the Greens” during the 11 a.m. worship Sunday. The Agape Choir will sing “Born to Set Thy People Free”. Wrapped gifts marked male or female can be placed under the tree for the nursing home mission.

EAST LIVERPOOL — Mr. John Smith will be the guest speaker during the 10 a.m. worship service Sunday at Grace Presbyterian Church. His sermon title will be “The Gift That Saves Eternally”. Scripture reference is Romans 3. Children’s Sunday school is held during the worship service.

EAST LIVERPOOL — Trinity Presbyterian Church will celebrate The First Sunday in Advent, during the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday. John McGraw will begin the service with the Prelude called “Carol of the Bells” by Wilhousky and the choir will sing “Every Valley” for the Anthem. Jeff and Jackie Mercer and their family will light the first candle of Advent. The children’s sermon will be presented by Cindy Hilliard. Reverend Dr. Stephen Cramer’s sermon is titled “Patience, NOW!”, with scripture from Isaiah and 1 Corinthians, after which Holy Communion will be observed. Sunday School begins at 10. The Trinity Women’s Christmas Tea will be held at 3 p.m. The first Advent Dinner will be held 6 p.m. Dec. 6, at Long’s Run Presbyterian Church. Public welcome.

GLENMOOR — The Glenmoor ECO Presbyterian Church, state Route 267, will observe the First Sunday of Advent during the 11 a.m. service of worship. The Justin Myers family will have the Advent presentation and lighting of the Advent Wreath. Pastor Vel Vais’ topic is titled, “What an Anticipation!” with the text from Mark 13:32-37. Sunday School is 9:30 a.m. Children’s church and Nursery care are provided during the service. The church is handicap accessible.
