It is available to any high school senior (U.S. citizen) who plans to further their education. No affiliation with Elks required. Applications due online by Nov. 27. Top awards up to $50,000.

EAST LIVERPOOL — Area high school students and parents invited to Information Night at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, on the Kent State-East Liverpool Campus, in the Mary Patterson Building, East Fourth Street. Prospective students can meet faculty and staff members who will share information about specific degree programs. Those who attend and complete required paperwork can have individual application fee waived. During the information session, Kent representatives will explain admissions process, share financial aid information, and provide details about scholarship opportunities.
