SALEM — Forever Safe Farm (FSF) is sponsoring “Passion for Compassion” Reverse Raffle and Chinese auction dinner on Nov. 4 at Boneshakers in Salem. Doors open at 5 p.m. FSF is (501c)(3) non-profit animal sanctuary located in Salem. Founders Karrin and Rob Campf built FSF over 26 acres of rolling hills and pasture. Animals come in a variety of different and unusual ways but mostly through abuse/neglect or abandonment cases. FSF has assisted local and National Animal Welfare agencies with transportation and temporary and/or permanent housing of animals in need. In 2016, the farm spent more than $20,000 in veterinary care and more than $38,000 in food for the animals. It calls more than 100 animals “family” — from camels to coatimundis to wallabies to deer “no animal has to worry about their tomorrow. At FSF, their home is Forever.”Annette Bragg, who has worked alongside FSF on rescues, is featured speaker. She will provide the audience a message of inspiration as well as share her passion for animal advocacy.Dinner is a vegan buffet with a vegetarian option created by Boneshakers chef Eric Carcione.
