GLENMOOR — Glenmoor ECO Presbyterian Church, Lisbon Street, will emphasize the theme, “Words of Life” this Sunday during the 10 a.m. service of worship. The soloist will be Beth Weir. Pastor Vel Vais’ message is titled, “Wonderful Words” with the text from John 6:56-69. Children’s Church is held during the service. The church is handicap accessible and the sanctuary is air-conditioned.

EAST LIVERPOOL — Emmanuel Presbyterian Church welcomes Student Pastor Nancy DeStefano to the pulpit during the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday. Her sermon is titled “Faith-Not Just Lip Service”. Special music will be performed by a duet of Shayna Hamilton and Benjamin Dalrymple. A collection for the Tri-State Chaplaincy will continue through the month of August.

EAST LIVERPOOL — Rev. Larry S. Hukill’s message, titled, Out of the Church, Into the Streets“, will be given during the 10:45 a.m. worship service Sunday at First United Methodist Church, W. 5th Street. The Scripture Lesson will be read by Diana Bickar. Something’s Brewing will be hosted by Belinda Dunlap. Bradley Bonam will be presenting the solo, “Lord, Make Me an Instrument”.

The UMW meets 7:30 p.m. Monday.

Boy Scout Troop 41 meets 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Thursday is the September “Voice” deadline.

EAST LIVERPOOL — Rev. John Bower will be the guest pastor during the 10 a.m. worship service Sunday at Grace Presbyterian Church. His sermon title will be “The Parable of the Loving Father”. Children’s Sunday School is held during the service.

GLENMOOR — Holy Communion will be observed this Sunday at Long’s Run Presbyterian Church, with all believers welcome to the table. Rev. Cramer’s sermon will be “Dream On.” The message is based on scripture from Genesis 37 and Matthew 2. Services begin at 10 a.m. Nursery will be held during the worship service.

EAST LIVERPOOL — Sunday morning worship begins at 11 a.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Maine Boulevard, East Liverpool. A special music prelude will be played on the piano by Maxine Sutherland and Carol Walton. The children’s message will be given by Rev. Cramer. The sermon, “Dream On” will be presented by the Rev. Dr. Stephen Cramer. Offertory “Psalm 23” will be sung by Carol Walton and special guest Bill Hutchman. All invited to join in Communion of the People. Children and adult Sunday school classes begin at 10 a.m.
