EAST LIVERPOOL — The Good Shepherd Lunch served 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at St. Stephens Church, West Fourth Street, East Liverpool. Menu includes ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, rolls, applesauce, desserts and drinks.

WELLSVILLE — Potter Players Community Theater (PPCT), 15th Street, Wellsville, presents “Complaint Department and Lemonade” by Kamron Klitgaard. Showtimes are 7:30 tonight and 5:30 p.m. Sunday. Cost is $8 for adults, $7 for students/seniors and $6 for members. Advanced tickets sold (except members) will receive a $2 discount. CHESTER — As of April 1, boaters using the launching dock at Chester City Park will be charged a fee of $20 cash per year. Proceeds will be used for maintenance of the City Park.

Permits can be issued at Chaney’s Sunoco on Carolina Avenue. When purchased, permits are to be placed on the tongue of the trailer approximately 10 inches from the hitch so to be visible from the side of the trailer. This fee includes jet skis and boats.

This fee will be strictly enforced, and there will be a fine for those without the proper sticker fee.

EAST LIVERPOOL — First United Methodist Church, West 5th Street, will celebrate Women’s Sunday during the 10:45 a.m. morning worship service Sunday. Something’s Brewing will be hosted by members of the UMW. Judy Kidder will bring the message, “If God Should Speak.” Special Mission Recognition will be presented by UMW President, Dorothy Garn. The Choir will sing the Anthem, “Rise Up and Sing!” and the Wesleyan Ringers Bell Choir will present the Offertory, “Sweet Hour of Praise”.

The Tuesday Morning Bible Study begins at 10 a.m. and Boy Scout Troop 41 meets at 7 p.m.

The bell choir meets at 6:30 p.m. and the Choir at 7:30 on Wednesday.

CHESTER — The Chester Church of Christ will hold its annual Spring Meeting April 23-27, beginning 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday. Weekday services will begin at 7 p.m.

The speaker will be Roger Rush, a native of Fairmont, W.Va. He has attended Fairmont State College, Ohio Valley University, Lubbock Christian College, WVU, Marietta College, and Harding Graduate School of Religion. He has served as the minister of the Sixth and Washington Church of Christ in Marietta since 1985. Prior to coming to Marietta, he serviced WV congregations in Hundred, Little Hocking, Lower Paw Paw and Lower Salem. He has been preaching for over 35 years. Mr. Rush is married to the former Diane Bond of Senecaville, Ohio and they have two children, Angela and Adam.
