NEWELL — Newell Community Improvement Coalition meets 7 p.m. March 14 in the Wells Building.

RICHMOND — Edison High School’s winter band concert — which features soloists and ensemble performances — is slated 7 p.m. March 14 in the school auditorium. Free admission. Donations will be accepted and will benefit the band’s Moorehead Scholarship Fund.

EAST LIVERPOOL –Ponderosa will donate 10 percent of a customer’s order receipt to F.I.S.H., during the month of March, if mention F.I.S.H. to the cashier. The women’s group from Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Rogers, decorated the large bulletin board near the cash register. It has a banner with information about F.I.S.H. and a scene depicting many helping hands holding different food items.

EAST LIVERPOOL — Bridge to Recovery group meets 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays at The Lord’s Community Church, Jackson Street, East Liverpool, next to Dawson’s Funeral Home. SALINEVILLE — Music students at Southern Local Elementary will display their talents during a series of upcoming concerts. Kindergarten students will perform “Mother Goose Theater” for parents at 5:30 p.m. March 16; fourth-graders will hold a recorder concert during the District Showcase at 5:30 p.m. March 23; a first-grade Kod’ly concert is scheduled 5:30 p.m. April 6; and a second- and third-grade showcase is April 27 with third-graders performing at 5:30 p.m. and second-graders at 6:30.

HAMMONDSVILLE — Stanton Elementary students will present “Willy Wonka Jr.” at 7 p.m. March 17 in the school auditorium. Admission is $3 per person and proceeds benefit music supplies and materials, as well as upgrading seats in the auditorium. Reserved seating available starting March 10. Candygrams available at the door for $1. For more information about reserved seats, contact any cast member.

Stanton students also will perform during the Wheeling Nailers game on March 31. A total of 36 students in grades 4-6 will attend the 7:35 p.m. game against the Brampton Beast of Ontario, Canada, at WesBanco Arena. Students will perform “The Star Spangled Banner,” “O Canada,” and “God Bless America.”

EAST LIVERPOOL — Breakfast served 7:30 a.m. to noon Sunday at the VFW Post 66, Blakeley Street. Menu includes eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, home fries, sausage gravy, biscuits, hotcakes, toast, tea or coffee. Cost is $6.50 dine-in or $7 carryout. For information, call 330-385-6632.
