LISBON — Lepper Library in Lisbon will host a program titled “The Canal Through Lisbon,” 6 p.m. March 16. Doug Bacso of the Sandy and Beaver Canal Association will talk of the path the canal took through New Lisbon and those village residents important in the canal’s history. CHESTER — The Radical Rosies Red Hats meet 1 p.m. Saturday at Cricksters. It will be a St. Patrick’s Day celebration, so wear something green. Optional: Bring non-perishable items for Salvation Army’s Food Bank. There will be a special guest.

LISBON — Caring for Kids 19th annual Support Dinner is 5:45-7:45 p.m. April 6 at Columbiana County Career and Technical Center, state Route 45, Lisbon. Guest speaker is Kathie Chaffee, PCC-S executive director, Columbiana County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board. Menu includes tossed salad, stuffed chicken breast, penne pasta with marinara sauce, augratin potatoes, buttered sweet corn, rolls, coffee, ice tea, and strawberry shortcake with whipped topping.
