EAST LIVERPOOL — The Second Sunday in Lent will be observed during the 11 a.m. worship service, Sunday at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church. Nancy DeStefano will bring the message, “Getting into Heaven” and Joyce Adkins will read the scripture lesson; John 3:1-17. The anthem is “Song of Isaiah,” sung by the Agape Choir. Sunday School classes begin at 9:30.

The church office will be closed on Monday and Thursday. The choir will meet for rehearsal 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Food will be packed on Friday for distribution at the Food Pantry on Saturday at 8.

WELLSVILLE — First Baptist Church, Wellsville, will celebrate their Mass Choir’s annual Day 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Various choirs, soloists, and groups from the Tri-State area will be part of the celebration. There will be special selections by the Wellsville High School group, Ebony and Ivory. Pastor Rogers and the congregation invite the community to be a part of this worship experience.

GLENMOOR — Glenmoor Presbyterian Church, Lisbon Street, will observe the Second Sunday in Lent during the 11 a.m. service of worship Sunday. Besides the choral anthem, children of Celebration Singers will sing, “Praise Him” and “This Is The Day”. Pastor Vel Vais’ message is titled, “Life’s Tests” with the text from Genesis 15:1-12 and 17-18. Nursery Care and Children’s Church are provided during the service. The church is handicap accessible.

EAST LIVERPOOL — Trinity Presbyterian Church, Maine Boulevard, will observe the Second Sunday in Lent during the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday. The children’s message will be presented by Nancy Hall. Rev. Dr. Stephen Cramer’s sermon title is “All You Need Is Love”, with scriptures from Genesis 12:1-4 and John 3:11-17. The offertory, “What Wondrous Love Is This” will be sung by the Canticle Choir. Children and adult Sunday school classes will begin at 10. Child care is available and the building is handicapped accessible.
