EAST LIVERPOOL — Emmanuel Presbyterian Church will celebrate communion with Elder Kathy Barker during the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday. Nancy DeStefano will deliver the sermon “Transfiguration of the Lord”. A piano solo titled “It’s Just Like His Great Love” will be performed by Aaron Bunfill. Pocket change will be collected for the Presbyterian Giving Program for livestock.

SALINEVILLE — The Bethel Presbyterian Church, 16521 Steubenville Pike Road, Salineville, will hold an Ash Wednesday Service 7 p.m. March 1. The service will be led by Rev. Tanta Luckhardt-Hendricks as an introduction to the Lenten season. Public welcome.

EAST LIVERPOOL — Mr. Rick Stanley will be the guest speaker during the 10 a.m. worship service Sunday at Grace Presbyterian Church. His sermon title will be “Why Are We Here?” Children’s Sunday school is held during the service.

EAST LIVERPOOL — Long’s Run Presbyterian Church will celebrate Transfiguration of Jesus during the 10 a.m. worship service Sunday. Sunday School begins at 9. Pastor Cramer’s message will be “Glory, Glory, Glory.”

On Wednesday, there will be an Ash Wednesday service at 7 p.m., with Communion. Those wishing to receive the imposition of ashes will be able to do so during this service.

GLENMOOR — Glenmoor Presbyterian Church, Lisbon Street, will observe “Transfiguration of the Lord” during the 11 a.m. service of worship this Sunday. Pastor Vel Vais’ message is titled “The Yearning of Our Hearts”, with the text from Luke 9:28-36.

LISBON — Pastor Mike Dyer will be the speaker during the 9 a.m. worship service Sunday at Williamsport Chapel.

EAST LIVERPOOL — Trinity Presbyterian Church, Maine Boulevard will celebrate Transfiguration Sunday during the 11 a.m. worship service. Rev. Dr. Stephen Cramer’s sermon is titled “Glory, Glory, Glory”, with scripture from Exodus 24:15-18 and Matthew 17:1-9. The children’s message will be given by Judy Fannin. The offertory, “Joyful, Joyful” will be sung by the Canticle Choir. Children and adult Sunday school classes begin at 10. Following the service the Deacons are sponsoring a picnic lunch. A good will offering is being accepted for the lunch.
