The ELHS Lady Potters softball program’s 3rd Annual “Elf School” is Dec. 3 in the ELHS cafeteria. Cost is $15 per child. Parents free. There will be two different sessions: 8-11:30 a.m. and 4-7:30 p.m. The event will include cookies with Mrs. Clause, a raft ornament, snowball fights, meal, picture with Santa, Snowman soup, a Snowman craft, Elf School graduation, and a gift from Santa. SALINEVILLE — Bethel Presbyterian Church, Steubenville Pike Road, Salineville, will hold its monthly “Supper on the Hill” 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday.

WELLSVILLE — The Wellsville Chamber of Commerce has sold out its memorial tags for the Christmas bulbs, which will be placed on the village Christmas tree. Those who ordered are asked to submit payment as soon as possible.

WELLSVILLE — Wellsville Crime Watch meets 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the activity room of Shoub Towers, 500 Main St.  “Meet the Firemen” will be the program.

EAST LIVERPOOL — East Liverpool High School cheerleaders are sponsoring a dance 6-8 p.m. Friday at North Elementary for grades K-6. Admission is $5 per person. Snacks and drinks available for purchase.

WELLSVILLE — The 4th annual Vendor/Fundraising Fair is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 19 at the Alumni Center, 201 3rd Street, Wellsville. Vendors, chinese auction, 50/50, and a soup and bake sale will be available.

“Penguin’s Pack” is a nonprofit organization that helps local cancer victims and their families with expenses incurred during treatment. The organization was started in 2007 in memory of Mathugh Johnston, who passed away after battling both Ewing’s Sarcoma and Leukemia. In 2013, the first fair was held to benefit Matthew Pickering, another Leukemia patient, who passed away in May 2014. The fair is now held annually to honor their memory.

The organization has been able to help more than 20 local cancer victims and their families with financial assistance. The organization is operated by five sisters: Giovanna Sullivan, Marguerite Sullivan Smuck, Noreen Sullivan Hanselman, Rosalia Sullivan Kijanka and Maria Sullivan Gaskill.

WELLSVILLE — The Living Well Church, 17th and Maple streets, Wellsville, is having a free Thanksgiving dinner 5-7 p.m. Friday. Menu includes turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, sweet potato casserole, rolls and pumpkin pie. Deliveries to elderly and disabled in Wellsville only. Carryout available. HAMMONDSVILLE — Pine Grove United Methodist Church’s annual Fall Craft and Vendor Show is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 19 at the Saline Township Complex. Irondale UMC will have the raffle and desert table. A visit from Santa is expected 11 a.m. to 1p.m. The Saline Township Complex is indoors and heated, and provides plenty of parking across the street for those attending, with vendor parking in the field beside the building. Eat-in or carryout available.

LISBON — The Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office will hold its 3rd annual “Stuff-A-Cruiser” event 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at the Salem Walmart. Deputies will collect non-perishable food items and donating them to the Salem Salvation Army for families in need this holiday season.
