LISBON — Robert Bycroft School is sponsoring the Adopt-A-Class project for Christmas. Donate $8 per student at 8 students per class, ($64). This money will be used by staff members to purchase a gift for each child. Santa will deliver these gifts at the Christmas party. EAST LIVERPOOL — East Liverpool Lions Club will be hosting their annual quarter auction on Dec. 4, at the East Liverpool Community Center. Admission is $5 and includes a paddle to bid with and entry into door prizes. CHESTER — Chester will hold its annual Hometown Christmas celebration on Dec. 3. This year’s theme is “The Magic of Christmas.”

Vendors will be set up along Carolina Avenue from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Craft shows will run from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Chester American Legion Post 121, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lynn Murray Memorial Library.

A Chili Cook-Off will be held at the Chester Volunteer Fire Department from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Free Kids Bingo will be held from 12-1 p.m. at VFW Post 6450, and other children’s activities are scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon at Chester City Park.

The parade will begin at 3 p.m.

EAST LIVERPOOL — Church of God Children’s Ministry, SOUL Patrol Kids, West Eighth St. East Liverpool, will host a Drop-N-Shop 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 10. If you have errands or shopping to do, we will watch your children. All volunteers have passed a nationwide background check and are CPR certified. Cost is $8 per child for ages 3-12. Activities include pizza, drinks, games and the movie Polar Express. EAST LIVERPOOL — Hope Christian Fellowship, located across from the Beaver Local stadium, state Route 7, will present “The Sounds of Christmas 2016” 7 p.m. Dec. 10 and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Dec. 11.

Slated as a musical celebration of the season and the Savior, the annual production will feature the Praise Choir, vocal ensembles, soloists, sign language team, children’s ensemble, comedy and dance all woven together with narrative.
