YOUNGSTOWN — Gamblers Anonymous, a 12-Step fellowship of compulsive gamblers who want to recover from their gambling addictions, will meet twice this week in the Youngstown-Warren area: Friday, Nov. 18, at Westminster Church, 119 Stadium Dr., Boardman, and Sunday, Nov. 20, at Christ Church Presbyterian, 3425 Hopkins Road, Youngstown (in Cornersburg). Both meetings begin promptly at 7:30 p.m. and last about 90 minutes. Those who believe gambling has affected any part of their lives are urged to attend. The meetings are held at the same locations and same times each week.

EAST LIVERPOOL — The Good Shepherd community lunch is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Stephen’s Church, 4th Street, East Liverpool. Menu includes turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, desserts and drinks. Veterans welcome.

EAST LIVERPOOL — Holy Trinity Parish will hold its annual free Thanksgiving dinner 5-7 p.m. Nov. 22 at the James J. Hocking Center (former St. Aloysius School), West 5th Street, East Liverpool.

LISBON – The Banquet of Lisbon is providing a free community Thanksgiving dinner, 5-7 p.m. Monday at New Lisbon Presbyterian Chuch. The dinner is sponsored by members of the Barborak family in honor of their mother, Carol Barborak.

EAST LIVERPOOL — The Community Christian Choir will hold rehearsal 6:30 p.m. Monday at First Church of the Nazarene in East Liverpool. The cantata will be held Dec. 17-18.

EAST LIVERPOOL — Grace City Church, West 5th Street, East Liverpool, will serve a free community Thanksgiving dinner 4-7 p.m. Nov. 23.
