MIDLAND — An Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service, sponsored by the Midland Area Ministerium, will be held 7 p.m. Sunday at the Church of the Living God, Beaver Ave., Midland. Speaker will be the Reverend Westbrook, Pastor of Faith Temple Chapel: Church of God in Christ. A free will offering will be taken for a worthy cause. Public invited.

EAST LIVERPOOL — Emmanuel Presbyterian Church will celebrate Christ the King Sunday and communion with Elder Kathy Barker during the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday.  Student Pastor Nancy DeStefano will deliver her message titled “The Character of a Shepherd”.  The Agape Choir will sing “Give Thanks”.

EAST LIVERPOOL — Craig Monte, will be the guest speaker during the 10:45 a.m. morning worship service Sunday at First United Methodist Church, West 5th Street. His sermon title is “Living the Christian Life” and the Scripture Lesson will be read by Becky Anderson.

The choir will present the anthem, “We Thank You, Lord” . It’s  ‘Little Red Wagon Sunday’.

The Advent Study, ‘Down to Earth’, begins 10 a.m. Monday and the Esther Bible Club meets at 7:30 p.m.

The choir meets 6:30 p.m. and the Bell Choir at 7:30 Wednesday.

The church office will be closed Wednesday-Friday in observance of Thanksgiving.

Everyone is invited to help with the Hanging of the Greens 9 a.m. Nov. 26.

GLENMOOR — Glenmoor Presbyterian Church, Lisbon Street, will observe Thanksgiving Sunday and the dedication of Pledge cards during the 11 a.m. service of worship. Pastor Vel Vais’ message is titled, “Our Willingness to Serve” with the text from Mark 10:35-45.

Nursery care and Children’s Church are provided. The church is handicap accessible.

EAST LIVERPOOL — Rev. Alan Boone will be the guest pastor during the 10 a.m. worship service Sunday at Grace Presbyterian Church. His sermon title will be “False Apostles”. Children’s Sunday school will be held during the service.

WELLSVILLE — Reverend Darlene Zanders, Pastor, Mt. Sinai FBH Church will be guest speaker during the afternoon worship service Sunday, beginning 3:30 p.m. at Lee’s Chapel AME Church, 14th and Center Streets, Wellsville. Sponsored by the Steward Board.

EAST LIVERPOOL — The Presbyterian Women will be leading the Thank Offering during the 10 a.m. worship service Sunday, with Mark Wilds as the special speaker at Longs Run Presbyterian Church. The Thank Offering collected will be given to support many missions. The recipients will provide an array of services in their communities–a food bank in a remote area of Colorado where employment opportunities are limited, expansion of an English as a Second Language program in Texas, a shelter for abused women in Mississippi, a women’s agricultural program in South Sudan, a youth training program in Rwanda, and many more. At least 40 percent of the offering funds health ministries. The choir will be singing “Canon of Thanks”. Sunday School begins 9 a.m. Nursery and Junior Church will be held during the service.
