WELLSVILLE — The Food Pantry is open 3-5 p.m. today at First Baptist Church, Center Street, Wellsville. Bring ID and bags. Must follow eligibility guidelines. Accepting new clients from Wellsville area only.

EAST LIVERPOOL — East Liverpool Christian Community Choir will hold its weekly rehearsal 6:30 p.m. Oct. 24 at the First Church of the Nazarene in East Liverpool. Rehearsal for the following Monday (Oct. 31) will be moved to 6:30 p.m. Nov. 1. All singers are welcome.

EAST LIVERPOOL–The Shared Blessings free community lunch is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at St. John Lutheran Church, Hill Boulevard.

GLENMOOR — Glenmoor American Legion will serve breakfast 9 a.m. to noon Sunday. Cost is $6 dine-in or $6.50 carryout. Menu includes ham, sausage, bacon, eggs,  hash browns, toast, pancakes, sausage gravy, biscuits, coffee or tea.

WELLSVILLE — The Wellsville Fire Department is sponsoring wing night 5-8 p.m. Monday at Sons of Italy. Cost is $7 for a dozen wings, $4 for fries and $10 for the meal which includes a dozen wings and fries. Carryout available. For information, call 330-532-1927.

EAST LIVERPOOL — VFW Post 66 will serve breakfast 7:30 a.m. to noon Sunday. Menu includes eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, home fries, sausage gravy, biscuits, hotcakes, toast, tea or coffee. Cost is $6.50 dine-in or $7 carryout. For information, call 330-385-6632.

EAST LIVERPOOL–The East Liverpool City Hospital Auxiliary is hosting a quarter auction fundraising event Oct 25 at the East Liverpool Country Club, Park Way East.

Doors open to the public at 5 p.m. at which time guests may browse the vendor tables and purchase food and beverages. A quarter auction begins at 6:30.

Admission and first paddle $5 at the door. Additional paddles may be purchased for $2 each. Tickets on sale now or may be purchased at the door. Proceeds benefit the East Liverpool City Hospital Auxiliary.

WELLSVILLE — The 8th annual “Cheer For a Cure” is 11 a.m. Oct. 30 in the Wellsville High School gymnasium. Doors open at 9 and the event starts promptly after the Survivor/Memory walk.

Registration is $25 per participant. Fee includes T-shirt and participation medal, while each team receives a trophy. All age groups welcome.

More than 150 cheerleaders are participating from Beaver Local, Oak Glen and Wellsville.

Vendor fee is $25 and will be set up (cheer and girl specific), as well as a photo booth, Chinese auction, and 50/50. Proceeds from the vendor fee, Chinese auction and 50/50 will be donated to a local resident currently affected by cancer. Everyone affected by all cancers will be recognized.
