Regional Chamber holds sunrise forum
EAST LIVERPOOL – “What do customers really want?” That question was addressed by Patrick Hartory, a Chardon, Ohio-based consultant, who spoke recently at the Southern Columbiana County Regional Chamber of Commerce Sunrise Breakfast Forum.
With stories about selling candy bars as a young boy to the ice cream shop that sells a $10,000 sundae, Hartory conveyed how organizations can better define their value, look beyond price and build lasting relationships with customers.
After his presentation, Hartory, a Kent State alum, was presented with an honorary certificate by Leonard Koshinski, director of advancement for the Kent State campus.
Heritage sponsored the event, which was held at Kent State-East Liverpool. More than 30 chamber members attended.
A Sunrise Breakfast Forum is scheduled quarterly by the chamber of commerce. The events feature talks by influential business and policy leaders to promote the interests of area commerce.
