WELLSVILLE – Helen V. Billingsley, of Chester Avenue, Wellsville, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014 at her home. She was 90.
Born June 29, 1924 in New Matamoras, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Mary Means Reese. At one time she worked at the Kings Bargain Center in East Liverpool as well as The Mart in Lisbon and Sulene Distribution in East Liverpool.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” Hanselman. She was then married to Harold “Hank” Billingsley until his death.
She is survived by two sons, William “Bill” Timmons, of Wadsworth, Ohio and Charles “Chuck” Timmons, of East Liverpool. There is a step-daughter, Nancy Scott, of Industry, as well as a step-son, Edward “Ted” Hanselman of Industry.
Eleven grandchildren also survive along with 20 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Pastor Bob Gadd of the House of Prayer will conduct a funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial is to be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
