CHESTER – The monthly Flea Market will be 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday in the Chester Municipal City Building, Multi Purpose Room, 600 Indiana Ave. Doors will open at 6 a.m. for vendors and early shoppers.

COLLIERS, W.Va. – Country Friends, 402 Old Police Lodge Rd., will host The Sands of Time band. The doors open at 6 p.m. and dance starting at 7 p.m.
WELLSVILLE – The Elks 1040 will have fish from 4:30-8 p.m. Friday.
LISBON – There are only ten months left to take the current GED exam. The new 2014 Official GED exam will be three times more costly and generally more difficult. Free GED classes will begin in Columbiana, Salem, Lisbon, and East Liverpool. All orientations will begin the week of March 4th. NEWELL – The Lions Club will have a fish fry from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday. Prices are fish sandwich $5, fish dinner (sandwich, fries and coleslaw ) $8, all sides $2. Eat-in or Carry-out. Delivery is available with a minimum order. Call 304-387-3413 to place a order.
SALINEVILLE – All you can eat spaghetti dinner at the Salineville Masonic Lodge from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
WELLSVILLE – A Men’s Prayer Breakfast will be held 9 a.m. Saturday at The Living Well (formerly Wellsville Church of the Nazarene), 1620 Maple Ave. All men are welcome.
LISBON – National Alliance Mental Illness Columbiana County chapter has set-up an educational workshop. The Mental Health counseling center east of Lisbon will host the Family to Family Program from 6-8:30 p.m. beginning Wednesday, March 6 for 12 weeks. Registration is required. Call Linda at 330-424-5772 or Irene at 330-332-4863. Workshop includes problem solving, empathy and communications skills in an effort to end the stigma associated with mental illness.
HIGHLANDTOWN – The monthly Community Breakfast sponsorered by the Highlandtown United Methodist Church will be from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Inverness Hall. Breakfast is all you can eat and by donation. All proceeds are used to help those in the Community who are experiencing difficulties.
EAST LIVERPOOL – Railroad Retirees will meet 11 a.m. Thursday at L&B Donut Shop. All departments welcome. A Representative from the Railroad Retirement Board will be guest speaker.
SALINEVILLE – All Southern Local alumni are invited to participate in an alumni basketball game on Friday, March 15, 2013.
All proceeds will go toward Southern Local Elementary/K105’s Quest for a Million Pennies, which benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. A 30 and over game will begin at 6 p.m., followed by an under 30 game. There is a $10 entry fee and all participants will receive a t-shirt.
