Always Best Care awarded grant funding
EAST LIVERPOOL — Always Best Care of Columbiana and Mahoning Counties of East Liverpool today announced the notification from the Area Agency on Aging of a grant award to assist residents of Mahoning County. Pamela Puorro, RNC Director/Owner of Always Best Care stated the grant award was in response to this year’s annual grant process to provide homemaking services and personal care services through an application for Social Funding offer by the Area Agency on Aging. She indicated that Always Best Care was one of many home health agencies applying for grant funding for 2019. Ms. Puorro indicated the grant award will be utilized for the provision of homemaking services. She stated that Always Best Care continues to expand its base of services offered to seniors in both Columbiana and Mahoning Counties and these services will complement services already provided. Ms. Puorro indicated that Always Best Care already provides these services to residents in Columbiana County under the MyCare Ohio and PASSPORT programs, Veterans Administration, Columbiana County Senior Levy Program, Mahoning County Levy program and others programs. Always Best Care is located at 1324 St. Clair Avenue in East Liverpool. Ms. Puorro (formerly Pamela Betteridge) is a local resident of East Liverpool and was born and raised in town.
