O’Reilly Auto Parts opens in Calcutta

CALCUTTA-O’Reilly Auto Parts has opened its doors for business in Calcutta, located at 15937 State Route 170 in the Kmart-Giant Eagle plaza.

It is one of two O’Reilly stores in Columbiana County, with the other located in Salem.

O’Reilly Auto Parts was founded in 1957, in Springfield, Mo., by Charles F. O’Reilly and his son Charles Jr. The business has since evolved from a small family business to a multi-billion dollar national chain.

“We welcome any new business to the township,” said St. Clair Township Trustee James Hall. “Although we do have several other auto parts stores here, competition has a way of improving service.”

The new Calcutta store features 10 part-time employees. Manager Danette O’Bryant says her staff is knowledgeable and willing to assist customers with battery changes, windshield wiper installation, adding fluid, bulb changes and other minor maintenance jobs.

“If it’s going to help people out and it’s fairly quick for us, we’ll be there to help you,” said O’Bryant.

The store carries name- brand parts for everything from daily drivers to tractors to watercraft and ATVs. High quality parts including Moog, A-1, Borg Warner, AC Delco and Bosch are all in stock. If the part is not in stock, O’Reilly is happy to order it for you, says O’Bryant.

“It’s all about taking care of customers,” said O’Bryant.

Store hours are 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 9 a.m. to 8p.m. Sunday. The phone number is 330-385-0764.
