A suspicious person was reported on Crestview Road at 2:41 p.m. Sunday. Deputies found the person lived on the street and were out for a walk.

Scott B. Anderson, Tower Road, Butler Township, reported at 12:28 p.m. Monday he was assault at his home on Saturday by an unknown person.

A domestic dispute was reported at 1:44 a.m. Sunday between Ronnie Lee Beadle and Christine R. DeSellem. She was gone from the home when deputies arrived and Beadle signed a refusal to prosecute form.

Shyanne Dawn Springer, Chester, W.Va., reported an underage drinking party at a Dyke Road address in Middleton Township at 3:39 a.m. Sunday. Deputies spoke with Nicholas S. Addy, who said there was no underage drinking party going on there.

Deputies were called at 3:27 a.m. Monday to the 28000 block of state Route 172 in Hanover Township for a deer struck by a vehicle. The deer was euthanized.

Cynthia A. Bilsland, East Main Street, Salineville, reported a black pickup truck has been parking in the area and then leaving the area repeatedly. Deputies checked the area, but the vehicle did not return.

A domestic dispute was reported at the home of Charity M. Todd, Salem Unity Road, Salem, at 3:47 a.m. Sunday. They argued and the man involved agreed to leave for the evening.

Amie Dowd of the County Dog Warden’s office reported at 12:03 p.m. Friday there had been malnourished horses reported in a pasture on Mick Road in Yellow Creek Township. There were two horses in the pasture, but no water and the end of the round bale of hay was moldy. Deputies found no one working outside at the farm and no answer at the door of the home. Deputies left a card asking the resident, Randy Dillard, to call when he got home. Dillard called later and said he does not own the horses. The girl who owns them had left. Arrangements were made to meet Dillard and discuss the horses, which he said do have access to a lake in the pasture.
