Columbiana County Common Pleas

Nicole Gima, 38, Follansbee, W.Va., pleaded guilty in Common Pleas Court to illegal conveyance of a drug of abuse onto the grounds of a detention facility. On Dec. 20, 2016, Gima had two capsules of Lisdexamfetamine concealed on her when she was being booked into the county jail. Gima is facing up to 36 months in prison and a $10,000 fine. Sentencing is set for May 17.

Brian K. Miller, 39, Sugar Street, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to two counts of theft for taking a Mastercard belonging to James Lowe and a purse containing cash and other contents belonging to Traci Lowe on June 16. He faces up to a 18 months in prison and a $3,500 fine. Sentencing is set for March 21.
