In Municipal Court Thursday, Cheyenne Gilmer, 23, Wilbert Avenue, was fined $250, sentenced to 160 days, 135 suspended, and was placed on probation three years for falsification. She falsely reported to police in January that she was walking home from Walmart when an unknown man offered her a ride then held her captive 12 to 14 hours in a basement, tying her up with ropes and blindfolding her, which she later recanted.

Cheyanne Gorby, 20, Avondale Street, was fined $250, sentenced to 90 days, 80 suspended, and was placed on probation three years for obstructing official business.

Carl D. Gooding, 37, Harvey Avenue, was fined $75, sentenced to 60 days, suspended, and placed on probation two years for no operator’s license.

Samantha J. Howell, 25, North Shady Lane, was fined $150, sentenced to 30 days, suspended, and placed on probation two years for driving under suspension, with 14 hours credit given for house arrest. She was fined $35 for illegal plates.

Brandy N. Pinkerton, 33, Lisbon Street, was fined $250, sentenced to 180 days, 150 suspended, had her license suspended 180 days and was placed on probation three years for leaving the scene. She was fined $250, sentenced to 180 days, 150 suspended, and placed on probation three years for driving under suspension.

Maurice L. Kimmie, 24, Cleveland, was fined $250 and sentenced to 15 days for falsification.

Jury trials were set for Joseph A. Weyand, 42, N.W. Canton, charged with domestic violence, April 11; J. Schon O’Hanlon, 42, Bloomfield Road, charged with driving under suspension, March 20; and Matthew R. Provenzano, 38, Plaza Drive, charged with domestic violence, March 14.

Pretrials were scheduled for Amanda D. Falkner, 29, Wilbert Avenue, charged with no operator’s license and failure to dim lights, March 21; Destiny M. Stoffel, 30, Wilbert Avenue, disorderly conduct/intoxication, March 21; Joshua M. Watkins, 30, North Shady Lane, criminal damaging and disorderly conduct/intoxication, March 21; and Jeremy Bailes, 31, Avondale Street, driving under suspension, Feb. 28.
