East Liverpool Police reports

Officers were contacted by East Liverpool Municipal Court staff members regarding defendant Lonny C. Adkins, 46, Lisbon Street, appearing for being intoxicated while appearing for a court case. He was administered a portable breath test which registered .087, and the staff advised officers that the judge requested Adkins be charged with disorderly conduct and sent to county jail and released after eight hours. He was so charged. Adkins was in court for a review from a previous case, according to court personnel.

Emma Weyand, McKinnon Street, reported someone tried to break into her house through the back door, tearing apart the screen door in the process. Officers checked the area but found no one.

A Belmar Street woman not identified in reports told police her boyfriend had left the house at 5:30 a.m. and between 15 to 20 minutes later, she heard someone prying at her front door and then the storm door close. She was home with her two small children, and her vehicle was in the garage at the time, according to reports, which noted this was similar to incidents that have taken place in the neighborhoods near the high school. They checked the area but found no one.

Katie Pugh, Heights Manor, reported returning home to find feces smeared on the door handle to her apartment, which a neighbor smelled and identified as likely from a dog. She told officers she had had issues with a recently evicted tenant regarding that personás dog.

Officers reported a text from a female saying her mother was being assaulted by her boyfriend. When police spoke with the woman and her boyfriend, they both denied any assault, saying they were arguing over cleaning the porch.

At the request of LaCroft School officials, officers checked to see if a woman is actually living at a Wilbert Avenue address saying no one answered the door but it appeared someone is living there.

Andrew English, no address listed, reported someone using his Social Security number in the state of Virginia. He has already notified banking companies.

Officers spoke with a Northside Street man regarding his 15-year-old daughter reportedly being sexually assaulted but not saying anything until she got into trouble at school and gave that as the reason she was acting out. The father was explained the next steps in the investigation.

A juvenile and her mother reported an incident while she was working at the Hot Dog Shoppe. The matter was referred to the detectivesá bureau. No other details were reported.

Daniel Plumley, 42, Palissey Street, was charged Monday morning with failure to control after he reportedly struck a vehicle owned by Betty J. Davis, Pennsylvania Avenue, then continued on, striking a vehicle on the J&R Motors lot, owned by that company. He told police the windshield was not completely clear of frost. The ASI/ELFD ambulance responded but Plumley was not transported, according to reports.
