Deputies were asked by Children Services to assist in removing two children from their home on Fink Road, Franklin Township, at 2:32 p.m. Tuesday. Deputies met the caseworker there but no one was home.

A woman who lives on Waterford Road, New Waterford, reported hearing music at 7:29 a.m. Wednesday and looked outside to see a man sitting in a black Ford pickup truck in her driveway. When she confronted the man, he started to swear and direct vulgarities at her. When the man told her to perform sex acts on him and exited his truck, the woman retrieved her handgun. When she returned armed the man got into his truck and drove away.

Deputies were asked to check on the welfare of a person who lives on Allen Drive in Center Township on Tuesday but no one was home.

Robyn L. Parrish, 23, Shady Lane Road, Center Township, reported she and her boyfriend, Gary Ramsey, were in possesion of a safe and office equipment that were being thrown out. The trailer used to haul the items broke down, so they left it in the yard for the time being. While gone they learned Ramsey’s relative took the items to HMF Recycling in Lisbon, where they were scrapped for $125. Parrish said she had the safe sold to her landlord for $200. Deputies intend to contact the relative.

A man from Steubenville Pike, Wayne Township, reported someone posted an ad on Craigslist about him being gay and proud and now he is getting texts from people discussing sex and cross dressing. The man believes he knows who is responsible.

Tom P. Trevor, Fife Coal Road, Yellow Creek Township, reported at 6:26 p.m. Tuesday that he and his girlfriend were being shoved around by her adult son, who did not like the fact Trevor was living there. Neither one wished to press charges, and Trevor agreed to leave for a while until things cooled down.

A clerk at the B & S Carryout, state Route 39, Highlandtown, reported at 7:42 p.m. Tuesday that a man and woman had entered the convenience store several times in the past hour and made small purchases each time.
