Columbiana county sheriff

Deputies responded to a Mill Street, Rogers, home where a man was reportedly contemplating suicide at 7:43 a.m. Wednesday. Deputies found the man sitting in his car in his driveway. After he was checked for weapons, the man admitted he was not feeling right for the past couple weeks. He agreed to be transported to Mercy Health in Boardman for evaluation.

Deputies checked on Marcia Blair, Butcher Road, Salem Township, at 9:26 p.m. Tuesday. Blair was located and told to contact her daughter, who was worried about her.

An alarm at Majestic Rides, state Route 7, New Waterford, brought deputies to the area at 8:40 p.m. Tuesday. Deputies checked the outside of the building, but could not reach the owner.

Deputies found several lawn tractors and ATVs with the keys in the ignitions at a property on state Route 14, East Palestine, after an alarm brought deputies to the area. The building appeared secure. The owner was not reached.

Harold L. Johnson, 12th Street, Knox Township, reported at 5:44 p.m. Tuesday someone accessed his banking online, changed his user name and password to his Key Bank account. Someone then transferred $1,000 from his savings account to his checking account, then transferred $500 from the checking account to another account, for which he does not have access.

An alarm sounded at 1:48 a.m. Tuesday at a Gavers Road, Franklin Township, home, but nothing suspicious was discovered.
