The long-vacant chiropractor’s office at 521 Maple St. was found broken into at 11:30 a.m. Monday. The desks appeared to have been gone through and books were scattered on the floor. A witness reported seeing two females from a tan/gold van going in and out of the building in the middle of the afternoon.

Police were called to a home on East Chestnut Street on Monday afternoon in regard to a woman who was feeling dizzy and having trouble breathing. The officer remained until an ambulance arrived.

A caller reported there were people being yelling and screaming at an East Washington Street residence at 11:12 p.m. Monday. While police did not hear any noise, they spoke with owners Jonathon W. Gullett, 45, and Glenn C. Libert, 49, both of whom appeared intoxicated. They were made aware of the complaint by the officer before he left.
