Jenna and Kevin Fantone

BOARDMAN – Jenna Smith of Canfield and Kevin Fantone of East Liverpool, were united in marriage on March 23, 2013, at the Boardman United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ash Welch officiating. A reception to honor the couple followed at Avion on the Water in Canfield.

The bride is the daughter of Ralph and Deborah Smith of Canfield. James Fantone of East Liverpool and the late Kathleen Fantone are the parents of the groom.

The bride wore an ivory, crystal organza and satin strapless gown with a beaded bodice which was completed with a cafe sash that rouched around the gown. The gown was finished with an embroidered hemline that continued into the semi-cathedral train. The look was completed with a beaded veil that complemented the beading on the wedding gown.

Ashley Smith, the bride’s sister, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Abbie Bardon, Claudia Kovach, Kim Varley, Ashley McNear and Rachel Schiele. The attendants wore eggplant-colored gowns.

Adam Fantone, the groom’s brother, performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Wasko, Gary Althiser, Ryan Campbell, Matt Tenzek and Rocco Longo.

The bride received a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education and an M.S. degree as a Reading Specialist from Youngstown State University. She is employed as a second grade teacher of Beaver Local School District.

The groom received a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice from Youngstown State University and an M.S. degree in Early Childhood Education from Franciscan University in Steubenville. He is employed as a kindergarten teacher for Beaver Local School District.

After a honeymoon trip to Aruba, the couple resides in Boardman.
