EAST LIVERPOOL – Sam and Joann Burdine of East Liverpool celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 23, 2016 with a family picnic hosted by their children. They were married on July 23, 1966 in Pricetown, W.Va., by Russell King.

They are the parents of Loretta Miller of East Liverpool and Sam Burdine, Jr., of Paris, Ohio. They have one grandchild.
