Peruchettis celebrate 50th anniversary

LISBON – Gary and Linda Peruchetti, Sr., Lisbon, celebrated their 50th anniversary on March 22 with an open house at the New Lisbon Presbyterian Church, Lisbon.

The former Linda Minton, daughter of James and Mildred Minton, married Gary Peruchetti, son of Frank Peruchetti and Julius and Jane Lisko, on March 19, 1965 at the Lisbon Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Paul T. Gerrard officiating the ceremony. Larry Peruchetti served as Best Man and Dee (Hoon) Peruchetti served as Matron of Honor.

Mr. Peruchetti graduated from Salem Trade School and worked in manufacturing for 46 years. He worked at Nash in East Palestine for 11 years, was in sales and estimating at Bliss Manufacturing in Salem for 20 years and Brilex Industries in Youngstown for eight years before retiring in June 2011. He has also served on the Lisbon Board of Education and the CCCTC Board of Education for several years and is a member of the Lisbon High School Athletic Hall of Fame and has been a member of the Men of Faith for several years.

Mrs. Peruchetti worked at the Bacon and Cibula Clinic in Lisbon for 18 years and in the Columbiana County Treasurer’s office as an assistant administrative secretary for 28 years before retiring in June 2011. She has also been a member of the Card Club for 50 years.

The couple is active at the New Lisbon Presbyterian Church with Mr. Peruchetti serving as an Elder and Sunday School superintendent for several years and Mrs. Peruchetti serving as a Deacon for six years.

They have three children, Mrs. John (Gina) Bettis, Lisbon; Mrs. William (Jodie) Hinchliffe, Lisbon; and Mr. Gary (Dianna) Peruchetti, Jr., Lisbon, and four grandchildren.
