Nentwicks celebrate 50th anniversary
EAST LIVERPOOL – Robert Nentwick and Carolyn Wilson met in the concert choir at East Liverpool High School in 1961 and fell in love. Robert is a 1962 graduate and Carolyn a 1963 graduate. On Feb. 14, 1965 they became husband and wife at St. Aloysius Church with Fr. Donald DeCarlo presiding in front of family and friends.
Following Bob’s discharge from the USAF he entered the commercial radio industry. Being inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame in 2009 was one of the highlights of his career and was selected to enter the East Liverpool Distinguished Alumni in July 2010.
The Nentwick’s have three children, Craig Nentwick of Collegeville, Pa.; Melissa Nentwick of Pennsburg, Pa.; and Christopher Nentwick of North Lauderdale, Fla..
After retirement in 2009, the couple decided to return to their roots and now reside in Calcutta.
A second honeymoon is planned for a Caribbean cruise.
